The SMU Mustangs lost a tough, hard-fought contest to the BYU Cougars on Friday night. A stout BYU defense held the Mustangs to 5 field goals, ending SMU's nine-game home winning streak. With another home game at Ford Stadium, there were some recruits in attendance. Of course, with it being a Friday night game and most high school teams playing a game themselves, only a few were able to make it out.
