Saturday's SMU experience memorable for 2021 QB Behren Morton

Technology can be a wonderful thing. It helped Eastland, Texas, 2021 quarterback Behren Morton stay in tune with one of the best comebacks -- if not the best comeback -- in college football this year.

Morton and his family, like others at Gerald J. Ford Stadium, decided to make an early exit during Saturday's SMU-Tulsa game. He got back on the road at the start of the fourth quarter.

But unlike others there, Morton didn't leave the game because he felt SMU was completely out of it. The Mustangs were down, 30-9, but with the help of a phone app, he was able to follow the final quarter -- and then the three overtimes after that.
