The recruitment process of Dridder, Louisiana defensive back Deshazor Everett has blown up in the past couple of months. With five offers already in writing Everett is expecting to receive more to come soon.

"Right now I have offers from Arkansas, Ole Miss, Kansas, Memphis and SMU on paper. TCU told me that they were going to offer me soon and so did Tulane and Missouri."
With all of the new interest in him, Everett is trying to say as unbiased as possible and not pick any early favorites.
"I am not choosing any favorites right now because I want to go visit the schools before I pick any favorites and I have not had time to yet. We just got out of school last week and I need to sit down and think about where I want to go."
As far as making trips this summer Everett knows that he will make it to a couple of camps but he is not quite sure which ones he will attend yet.
"I am going to take a few visits this summer and maybe go to some camps but that is about it. I don't know which schools yet. It honestly just depends on where my mom feels like driving to."
Everett has not been able to talk to any schools of late. He has been focusing on school and work mostly. He was also busy with his team's spring practice.
"We just ended spring practice last Tuesday. It was good. I had a sore shoulder during spring so my coach did not let me do too much. I just mainly focused on my coverage."
And now with school out Everett is going to start trying to get stronger in the gym.
"We start football workouts on Monday and I am going to try and improve on my strength mostly. I want to get stronger."
As far as SMU goes with this talented corner Everett says that as of right now he just does not know enough about them to give an opinion.
"Every school is in the picture right now but I just don't know really anything about SMU. I have never been to Dallas even. The only place in Texas that I have ever been is to Houston."
One thing that Everett is sure of right now is when he will make his decision.
"I know I want to make a decision after football season. My coach told me not to let all of this college stuff get to me and just wait and make some visits and then narrow it down. The ones that really want me will wait for me to make a decision and not try to pressure me into it."
