ECU prepared to have its hands full vs. SMU
Saturday will be a bounceback game of sorts for the SMU football team, and ECU coach Mike Houston knows a win on the road won't be easy.
After a week in which SMU was on the national stage but came up just short on the road to Memphis, it's time to get things back on track. The Mustangs will now focus on winning out to set themselves up in the best position to hopefully compete for an Athletic American Conference championship -- and, possibly, a New Year's Six bowl.
Suffice to say the magnitude of what ECU is up against -- going on the road to Gerald J. Ford Stadium on homecoming -- is not lost on head coach Mike Houston.
