What's surprised you most from TCU after two weeks of play?

The best surprise of TCU's team so far is the offensive line play. This is the biggest and possibly most physical line the Frogs have ever had. The addition of Chris Thomsen has had an immediate impact as he's gotten the most out of giant talent Matt Pryor at right tackle. Patrick Morris has looked good since moving to center, except for the one botched snap at Arkansas. This should give Kenny Hill more time to make less mistakes as the season goes.

What is TCU's biggest defensive weakness?

Biggest defensive weakness is hard to define right now. They've allowed 7 points so far this season. Maybe it's the slow start. Jackson State had 40 of its 60 yards on the game on it's first drive. Arkansas had 134 yards in the first quarter and just 133 the rest of the game. If this team gets into the game earlier, they might be historically great.

What should TCU's strategy be to stop SMU's big plays?

Double-cover Courtland Sutton. I'm not expecting as big a game from him against TCU this year since Ranthony Texada is fully healthy. Use him and Nick Orr, who has played corner and safety in his career, over top and they should be able to contain Sutton. If he isn't a big factor, I can't see SMU getting it's big plays.

Is there a way that SMU comes up with the win?

If Kenny Hill is bad Kenny Hill. TCU should have the advantage all over the field, but it might not be able to overcome too many Hill mistakes. But if TCU runs the ball and controls the clock, it should be able to win.

Prediction?

I'm taking TCU 45-17. I bet Sutton still gets a touchdown, but TCU is a more complete team.
