The ACC released its 2025 football schedule this week, and SMU wasted no time unveiling its slate of games. The Mustangs, coming off an impressive 11-3 season that included an 8-0 ACC regular-season record, a conference championship appearance, and a berth in the College Football Playoff, will look to build on their success in 2025.

SMU opens the season with back-to-back home games, hosting East Texas A&M and Baylor. This marks the first matchup with Baylor since 2016, as part of a two-year home-and-home series that will continue in 2026. The Mustangs then hit the road for challenging non-conference games at Missouri State and TCU to close out September.

The eight-game ACC schedule begins October 4th with a home game against Syracuse. SMU will also host Miami, Louisville, and Stanford in conference play. On the road, they face tough tests against Clemson, Wake Forest, Boston College, and California.

With a strong foundation and momentum from their 2024 success, the Mustangs are poised for another exciting season as they navigate a challenging schedule in their second year in the ACC.
