SMU made a statement on Saturday night by beating the previously undefeated #18 Pittsburgh Panthers 48-25 in front of a sold-out crowd at Gerald J. Ford Stadium. The Mustangs improved to 8-1 overall and 5-0 in the Atlantic Coast Conference and are now ranked #13 in the AP Poll and #15 in the AFCA Coaches Poll. That now leaves them and the #4 Miami Hurricanes tied at the top of the conference.
There were plenty of recruits in attendance to witness the Mustangs' biggest win of the season. The Hilltopics caught up with them to get their reactions.
