No. 19 SMU looks to go 7-0 as it faces Temple at Gerald J. Ford Stadium Saturday afternoon.
Saturday's story is the same as the story two weeks ago for SMU. And the story three weeks ago. And last month. And the start of the season.
"It is what it is. We're focused on being 1-0 every day," senior wide receiver James Proche said.
While the story angle may become rather trite for non-SMU fans, the goal remains the same -- and the end of the story has been in the Mustangs' favor through six games. They've parlayed the results to a No. 19 national ranking, as well.
SMU looks to go to 7-0 Saturday as it hosts a very competitive Temple team. The Owls (5-1) beat previously ranked Memphis last week and are looking for their third victory over a top-25 opponent this season.
