Temple focused against No. 19 SMU, hungry for another top-25 win
With all of the teams in the AAC with only one loss so far, Temple is looking to show it's the most dangerous in the conference
Exactly how focused is Temple on No. 19 SMU football this week? During the American Athletic Conference weekly teleconference, Temple coach Rod Carey said he spent roughly "11 or 12 hours" in the film room on Sunday -- and he didn't get the news about his team being ranked in the Coaches Poll until hours after everyone else did.
Rankings aren't important to Carey or his staff -- or to some of the players on the roster. Earning victories over skilled teams is where the Owls want their respect.
