SMU will travel to Evansville Monday to play a team that just beat the No. 1 team in the country -- but Saturday's opponent, Jackson State, is getting all the attention for now.

For the SMU men's basketball team, there's no such thing as overlooking an opponent. Jackson State is winless through three games. Two of the three losses came in 20-plus- point deficits. The third and most recent loss came Tuesday against a Tulane team that only won four games last season.

The Mustangs, fresh off a 77-64 home win Tuesday against New Orleans, are 2-0 on the year and heavy favorites to score a victory against Jackson State -- so much that some fans have already checked out of Saturday's matchup to prepare for Monday's first road test. SMU travels to Evansville to take on a Purple Aces team that just scored a road win over No. 1 Kentucky.
