There's a buzz in the SMU men's basketball locker room regarding the 2019-20 season, but the team is being patient about making any big predictions early.
The SMU men's basketball team will hold an open practice on Oct. 25 at Moody Coliseum. It'll be an opportunity for the SMU fan base to get its first glimpse at the 2019-20 team -- a team very proud of having a full roster for the first time in three years because of injuries, sanctions and any other bad luck.
Fourth-year head coach Tim Jankovich is excited about the upcoming season, as he will take the court with a handful of talented players -- none of whom are seniors. The expectations are high for a team that finished 15-17 last season but lost five of its last seven games.
But as fans prepare for the open practice, Jankovich wants to reiterate one important fact.
