After a short week of hosting Memphis, SMU gets more than two full weeks to prepare for its first American Athletic Conference road game of the season. The Mustangs will travel to New Orleans to face Tulane.
The Green Wave finished with a 7-6 record and a victory in the Armed Forces Bowl over Southern Miss. The bowl win helped Tulane forget about a three-game skid to end the regular season.
