A Tuesday offer from SMU has put a twist in Jayden Jones' commitment plans. Jones is looking to commit to a program in less than two weeks.

Sept. 19 is supposed to be the big announcement day for Dallas Parish Episcopal School defensive end Jayden Jones. Parish Episcopal is scheduled to kick off its regular season the following Friday, and Jones wanted to have a verbal commitment behind him.

That date is still set in stone as of now, but is Jones' latest offer big enough to have him making last-minute decisions? Jones reported an offer from SMU Tuesday afternoon.
