All SMU needed was a little momentum and now the flood gates have broken.
Chad Morris and SMU picked up their third commitment in two days in Cedar Hill cornerback Eric Sutton.

"The school's education is top-ten in the country and you can't pass over it," Sutton told the HillTopics. "And then I can go over there and play right away and make plays on defense for them."
Sutton will likely play multiple positions in the secondary, primarily at his natural position corner.
Sutton called Morris on Monday to make his pledge official.
"He was real excited when I told him," Sutton said. "He said we can't wait to have you be part of our family. And that's how he always talks. He talked to my mom, told her how it was going to be."
Sutton was offered by Morris, defensive coordinator Van Malone and defensive backs coach Jess Loepp after his performance at the SMU camp on Sunday. It was being around the staff at camp that made Sutton, who held offers from Air Force, Army, Stephen F. Austin and Sam Houston State, sure that SMU was the school for him.
"It felt so much like I was at Cedar Hill. I love how the coaches are really cool. They're great coaches that get on you," Sutton said. "They know exactly what they're doing. I loved the atmosphere, how fast they were practicing. Everything was timed, I loved it."
Sutton will be back on the Hilltop for an unofficial visit this summer with his mom and little brother. He did not get to take a tour of the campus after camp but had seen the facilities before, saying that the snack bar by the weight room with protein shakes was his favorite part.
The corner, who wants to study business or finance at SMU, was excited about being back in Dallas for college.
"I wanted to stay close to home and to start something new at SMU," Sutton said
Sutton represents a big addition for SMU in terms of Dallas recruiting, being from powerhouse Cedar Hill. He says that he's previously spoken with his Cedar Hill teammates Andrew Davis, Jaylon Jackson and Michael Clark about the Mustangs.
Sutton started working out today for his senior campaign at Cedar Hill. He is doing two workouts a day, trying to put on some weight to add physicality to his game before he gets to college.
