As he inches closer to 40 offers, Shadow Creek 2022 tight end Trent McGaughey keeps SMU among his schools to watch.

Pearland, Texas, 2022 tight end Trent McGaughey has stayed busy during quarantine talking to coaches and fielding offers. Last week, McGaughey added a Maryland offer to a list that includes nearly 40 schools as of Tuesday.

But even amid the recruiting chaos, McGaughey indicated that he is keeping his home- state school, SMU, in mind.
