The motor and overall intensity of DeSoto 2021 defensive tackle Byron Murphy has made several college football programs forget about his height. He stands 6-0 1/2, but it's been proven on multiple Friday nights that he can hold down the interior line.

Murphy has Power 5 offers from TCU, Colorado, Kansas and Georgia Tech. Sunday evening, he added his fifth offer in SMU, a team that has been watching him for quite some time.

Murphy was on campus Saturday to watch SMU's 45-21 win over Temple. And like many of the recruits on hand, he left Gerald J. Ford Stadium impressed.
