SMU's hot start a bonus for OT commit Dalton Perdue

Like all of the SMU commits, El Dorado, Arkansas, offensive lineman Dalton Perdue has thoroughly enjoyed the Mustangs' 5-0 start. He's also a huge fan of seeing his future college team nationally ranked for the first time in three decades.

But let's not assume the current success of the program has been the primary fuel for Perdue's love and appreciation. The 6-7, 285-pound tackle took his official visit to The Hilltop in June, and it didn't take long for him after that to make a decision of where he wanted to play college ball.

The fast start this year, let's consider that an added bonus for Perdue.
