SMU's come-from-behind victory Saturday over Tulsa, which ultimately put the Mustangs at 6-0 on the year for the first time since 1982, has had an effect on several people associated with the program. One of those people made 1982 a special year on the field for the Mustangs.
Pro Football Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson, the record holder of several SMU rushing marks, took to Twitter on Sunday to express his gratitude for what's going on at The Hilltop. The 43-37, triple-overtime win against Tulsa not only kept the Mustangs undefeated on the season but also has them ranked in both the AP Top 25 poll (No. 21) and the Coaches Poll (No. 22).
