Another former Dallas high-school standout is coming back to the city, transferring from a P5 program to SMU.

This time, it's former UCLA running back Brandon Stephens. Stephens played high school football at Plano Senior High School, where he was a three-star recruit. He had offers from a host of major schools, including Stanford, Texas and Alabama.

He will be eligible immediately and have two years remaining.

While Stephens played RB at UCLA, he is listed as a corner on SMU's roster. SMU is thin at that position, so if Stephens picks it up quickly, he could make a big impact.
