After a Thursday-night win over Houston, the SMU football team has a couple extra days to prepare for next week's clash at Memphis.

A day after a hard-fought, unattractive-yet-effective win over Houston, the SMU football team is back to doing what it's done all season long.

Win. Celebrate for a few hours. Get back to work. After all, the "go 1-0" weekly mentality becomes more and more of a goal as the season progresses -- and the victories pile up.

The No. 16 Mustangs are 8-0 on the year, and after escaping TDECU Stadium with a 34-31 win over a never-say-die Houston team, next week's preparation starts. And next week could be SMU's toughest opponent of the year in the Memphis Tigers.
