SMU was the first school to take a chance on Little Rock (Arkansas) Pulaski Academy 2022 running back Joseph Himon. The Mustangs offered Himon at the end of his freshman year in May.
This season, Himon has proven the SMU coaching staff to know talent, as he has compiled 1,152 all-purpose yards and nine touchdowns in seven games. Last Saturday, Himon made his first trip to the SMU campus and was at Gerald J. Ford Stadium to watch the Mustangs' 45 -21 victory over Temple.
