As a sophomore, Roderick Daniels found his niche as an all-purpose player. He caught passes, took advantage of jet-sweep rushes and scored touchdowns in multiple ways.

Now a junior for Duncanville, Daniels is looking to do his part to help the team return to the UIL Class 6A Division I championship game. The Panthers lost on a Hail Mary to North Shore last December.

A 5-9, 173-pound wide receiver, Daniels has caught the attention of the SMU staff. On Sunday, the 2021 athlete reported an offer from the Mustangs, his fifth offer overall. He has been offered as a slot receiver.
