"Everything was great about it the campus, the location, the football team is on the rise, and the coaches are great and it felt right."
Crosby has been under the radar for many schools as he missed the entire summer camp circuit had started to gain interest from many schools since he has had a great senior year.
"Tulsa, Kansas, Arizona State, and Purdue had all talked about offering," said Crosby. "They wanted me to play a hybrid linebacker though for them and SMU not only wanted me at safety but were the first to offer so that really stood out."
