The Numbers Game

USCFootball.com Just two months into 2007, the Trojans already have five commitments for next year's recruiting class.
With at least 22 scholarships available, USC continues to be much more aggressive in recruiting the nation's top junior prospects. More than a dozen scholarships have been offered, and this is how each position projects for 2008.
Quarterbacks
Graduating seniors: One Possible early pros: None Signed for 2007: One Needs for 2008: One Committed for 2008: None
How it looks: With the graduation of John David Booty, USC will have two scholarship quarterbacks on the roster - plus Garrett Green. We note Green as a quarterback because he has participated in passing drill this spring. Mark Sanchez and Aaron Corp are solid, although the coaching staff still has to monitor the health of Sanchez's back. Arkansas transfer Mitch Mustian continues to remain an option, but USC seems to be moving forward in recruiting a high school quarterback for next year.
